For instance, to reduce energy consumption, the system is uses less parts, and is designed to operate virtualization software.

The sleek enclosure of the Verdio is made of highly recyclable aluminum, instead of toxic plastics, which may end up in landfields in China or India. Since aluminum is a highly recyclable, this raw material used in the Verdio aluminum case can be reused in other products.
